'Must see' review in The Stage

Wednesday 16th August

The Stage, the newspaper for the theatre and television industry, has reviewed Bloggers - Real Internet Diaries and awarded it its prestigious 'Must See' label. "At times funny, at times heartrending", the review praised the writing, acting and directing of the production, concluding that "if blogs had been around at the time, Alan Bennett’s Talking Heads would have ended up like this."

Wednesday 16th August

Top Scottish newspaper Metro has reviewed Bloggers - Real Internet Diaries and awarded it four stars. The paper called the production "sacks of fun" and "as fast paced and brash as you'd expect." The review concludes: "Flicking back and forth, in and out of these dramatised blogs is like channel-hopping between soap operas that, remarkably, seem too engaging and credible to miss... hugely enjoyable"

Guardian feature on 'Bloggers'

Tuesday 15th August

Journalist Emma John has written a feature for The Guardian about Bloggers - Real Internet Diaries and the phenomenon of blogging-related theatre. She calls the production "heart-warming... light-hearted, character-based fun" and says the play has "unearthed the people you couldn't make up". The article includes an interview with 'Bloggers' creator-director Oliver Mann, as well as the teams behind Girl Blog From Iraq and Janey Godley's Blog - Live!

Friday 11th August

Bloggers - Real Internet Diaries has been reviewed by top Edinburgh Fringe publication Three Weeks, and awarded four stars. Their review called the show "zestfully vibrant, tinged with heartfelt human tragedy, exquisitely performed by a boisterous cast of five," and said the production was "one Fringe display you'll definitely want to stick in your diary." Bloggers - Real Internet Diaries director Oliver Mann appeared on BBC One's flagship daily news show 'Breakfast' to discuss the blogging phenomenon. He was joined on the sofa by Internet expert Robert Freeman of the BBC's technology show Click.
